not missin' the nissen
IN 2009 VIVA LA GONG
Inspired the MHP's Migration Places Project, local artist Flossie Peitsch created a small scale interpretation of the Nissen Huts for the 2009 Viva La Gong Festival. The huts appeared in the Wollongong Mall in the week leading up to the festival. Janys Hayes and actors performed pieces giving their interpretation of life in the Nissen Huts.
