This cake was made by Laurence Tonitto, who began working
as a pastry chef in 1986 and joined his father Vince in the family
business in 1988. Laurence's mother Adalgisa made all the bomboniere
(the special decorations for the cakes).
The family has made cakes for all kinds of special events in
the Italian community.
'We have made a few cakes for the Fraternity Club including one
in the shape of Italy , showing all the provinces and islands.'
