| 'I make bread. My mum always made it. Special bread made with
just flour, water, a tiny bit of salt and yeast, but no oil, is
called prosforo and goes to the altar. The priest gets
a little bit of it and puts it in the wine. We put candles in
another bigger loaf with oil in it. Some people will do this on
other days as well. It's a form of remembrance to have the bread
and the candles.' Joanna
This bread stamp belonged to Niki's mother. Niki uses it to mark
bread and biscuits she makes at Easter, Christmas and for Independence
Day celebrations.
